Following a year on Wall Street as an investment banker, Phil Quist decided to follow his passion for music and began working at Creative Artists Agency’s (CAA) New York office in 2012. Promoted into CAA’s Agent Training Program in 2015, Quist become an integral member of the agency’s electronic music team, covering shows, scouting new artists, and booking acts. Quist helped identify and sign such emerging artists as breakthrough duo The Chainsmokers, Cheat Codes, Kungs, Elephante, Lost Kings, and now represents a cross-section of artists that also include Young Thug, Fetty Wap, Maggie Lindemann, Robin Schulz and Jack & Jack. In addition, he serves as the East Coast territory booking agent for the agency’s full roster of electronic clients. Quist is an active member of the music community, serving on the City of Hope Future Leaders Board and MusiCares Foundation’s Young Ambassadors Board. He also helps curate the Emerge Impact + Music Conference, created by the Life Is Beautiful festival founders. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a major in Finance.
